Create Your First Campaign
  1. Sign up for a free Esendtial account
  2. Configure your email sending method (SMTP or Mailgun)
  3. Import your contact list via CSV
  4. Create and send your first campaign
  5. Monitor delivery and track results in real-time

Setting Up Your SMTP Server

Esendtial supports any SMTP provider. You'll need:

  • SMTP Host (server address)
  • Port (typically 25, 465, or 587)
  • Username and Password
  • From Email Address

Contact your email provider or host for specific SMTP settings.

Connecting Mailgun
  1. Sign up for a Mailgun account if you don't have one
  2. Get your API key from the Mailgun dashboard
  3. In Esendtial, go to Sender Settings
  4. Select Mailgun as your sending method
  5. Paste your API key and configure your domain
  6. Test the connection and you're ready to send

Importing Contacts

You can import contacts via CSV file. Required columns:

  • email - Valid email address (required)
  • name - Recipient name (optional)
  • Custom fields - Any additional data you want to track

Esendtial will validate all email addresses during import and skip any invalid ones.

Email Campaign Best Practices
  • Keep it simple: Use clear, concise copy with obvious call-to-actions
  • Mobile friendly: Design for mobile devices where most emails are read
  • Segment your list: Send relevant messages to relevant audiences
  • Monitor bounces: Remove hard-bounced addresses to maintain list health
  • Test before sending: Always send a test email before launching campaigns
  • Respect unsubscribes: Honor unsubscribe requests immediately
